Explore the balance of nature and technology in our Sustainable Systems camp or enjoy thrilling outdoor adventures like caving, hiking, whitewater rafting, paddle boarding, and climbing. Dive into Appalachian culture with activities such as gold panning, fishing, and visiting Amish farms, or hone your skills in specialized camps like fly fishing, snorkeling, and youth wrestling. For aspiring leaders, our Outdoor Leadership Camp teaches survival skills, group management, and backpacking essentials, while Farm Friends provides hands-on learning about animals and planting. There’s something for everyone this summer!
Ivy Academy strives on the school’s motto: We are Scholars, We are Stewards, We are Volunteers. Camp Sasquatch allows us to offer programs that embody these pillars by creating an outlet for us to share our unique educational approach with other students in the community.
Exploring appalachia
Ages 14-17 (May 28 - June 1)
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains! This incredible camp invites 10 lucky students to stay in cozy cabins nestled in Tellico Plains, TN, for a 3-night getaway filled with excitement and discovery. From fishing in pristine streams to hiking scenic trails and uncovering breathtaking waterfalls, every day will be an adventure. You'll pan for gold like a prospector, visit a charming Amish farm, and take on even more fun surprises! This trip isn’t just about outdoor thrills—it’s a chance to grow, build independence, and become a true outdoor leader.
Forest Friends
Ages 4-6 year olds (dates TBD)
Modeled after guiding principles in Wauhatchie Forest School, this program is an experiential, nature forward program designed to immerse children in inquiry-led nature exploration. Daily activities will include circle time, short exploratory hikes, sit spot observations and journaling, sharing art lessons, quiet time, story time, yoga, music, and nature play.

Rising 4th - 6th grade (June 9- June12)
Have you ever envied Old McDonald and his farm? Get a glimpse of farm life at Camp Ivy. We will learn about pigs, goats, chickens, and plants on Ivy Academy’s AgScience Farm. Your camper will leave with dirt under their nails each day!
Sustainable Systems
High School (June 23 - June 27)
"Explore the interconnectedness of nature and technology in our Sustainable Systems summer camp! During this week-long camp we will be looking at a few fundamental concepts in sustainable agriculture, including; Rainwater Catchment Systems, Permaculture Landscaping, Food Forests, and Integrating Beneficial Insects."
Music & theater
High School (dates TBD)
Unleash your creativity this summer at our High School Music & Theater Camp! This dynamic, two-week experience is perfect for aspiring performers, musicians, and theater enthusiasts ready to explore their talents in a fun, supportive environment.
Campers will work together to produce a final showcase featuring musical numbers and dramatic scenes, perfect for friends and family to enjoy on the final day!
Outdoor Adventure
Rising 6th-8th Graders (June 2 - June 6)
Love the outdoors? Love adventure? Then join us as we explore the amazing outdoors through whitewater rafting, caving, rock climbing, outdoor skill building, and hiking. We will also explore team building and leadership skills as these are necessary when participating in outdoor recreation and planning for outdoor career fields.
Canoe camping
Ages 14-17 (June 16- June 19)
Have paddle, will travel. Campers will begin their journey at the North Chickamauga Creek paddling down the Tennessee River, and ending up at Marion County park in Haletown, TN. Campers will paddle, set up camp on McClellan Island just below Veterans Bridge and inside the Tennessee River Gorge while we cook, sit around the campfire, and enjoy the stars. Some highlights along the trip, entering the Tennessee River just below the Chickamauga Dam, Downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee River Gorge, abandoned Hales Bar dam.
